The New Mexico District Export Council mission is to empower every company in New Mexico to become a successful exporter and compete in the global marketplace. We are committed to advancing international trade opportunities that strengthen New Mexico’s economy, create jobs, and showcase the innovation and quality of products made throughout our state.
We proudly support the global export of New Mexico’s agricultural technology, industrial goods, computer and electronic products, electrical equipment and machinery, specialized chemical products, defense, aerospace, and more. New Mexico’s leading export industries include integrated circuits (semiconductors), office machine parts, computer storage devices, telecommunications equipment, mechanical appliances, oil and gas, power supplies, and photovoltaic semiconductor devices. We also partner with the New Mexico Department of Agriculture/International Market Office to support agricultural exports such as dairy products (including cheese and whey), tree nuts, and other goods that reflect the strength and diversity of New Mexico’s economy
Through education, partnerships, advocacy, and global business development, the Council works to position New Mexico as a world-class leader in international commerce, innovation, manufacturing, agriculture, and technology exports.
